(In an effort to make the title sound like a sequel, I did something stupid...)
OBS was quite like I had expected (sans activities) where they all pwn Sarimbun like paper HP. Our watch name was Magellan (after the sea explorer Ferdinand Magellan). We had fun calling it "mage-llan". I also note that it was my first time on P. Ubin.
Land EX (and maybe night trek) was the only thing I thought really hard to do, and only because of the heavy bag (which I guess will be useful training for NS). My foam mat and shoe bag was the most irritating.
We slacked at Camp 1 getting niaoed by the Aphelion and 2D people who had that as base camp. Nvm de. It was a good refresher course on "How to use a Staircase", "How to use a Toilet Bowl" and "How to bathe properly".
Sea EX I would remember for a long time. It was not easy feeling good, tired and suddenly stupid (for being in the sea in those circumstances) all at the same time. As with all my misuses of "cute", I declare the sea EX to be "hyper-cute". With all due pessimism however, it was rather shitty when we had to touch shore during the storm. It was cool though, when we saw the storm chase us, and the other side all calm sky and lush greenery. Then we got pwned by Shiney, Soon Yee and Wenqi's Tri-yak almost all the way till the finish where they got stuch at one of the pontoons at Camp 1. That I would call an "Alonso win" (after the SGF1GP).
Night Trek was lol (for the lack of a better word). We didn't know we trekked that far. Setting up the tent was the best, as we did it first and just before the drizzle started. I had a good night relative to the circumstances and others' sleep (excluding the fact that I could not stretch my legs).
Rock climbing would have been more fun if I had not broken my nail the previous day. Else I could have climbed to the top more easily. Belaying Kenneth was the best, as I was lifted even though I had TWO anchormen attached to me.
The feast on Thursday was the best. Touching mainland was the best. Almost kissing the HCI floor was the best.
I had a week's worth of news to digest, a week's worth of Foxtrot's new arc and a week's worth of other's experiences to share.
On another note, I found this while blog-hopping. Lol...
Going there tomorrow. Just finished with packing.
A not so strangely, I met Kenny, Ben Cheong, Bryan, Joel and Tiet Ho at Golden Mile Complex (Beach road there) shopping for camp supplies.
Will be there for a fun week.
Still listening to ニコニコ動画物語.wav while searching for the song by refering to here. How noob of me.
The Pre-registration is now open here.
I will be going in the wake of my attendance of STCC'08 (now STGCC (incl. Games now)), CosFest VII: Super Henshin.
If anyone wants to go, I really reccomend pre-registration. I don't know how big this is (actually the title is "Anime Festival Asia"...), so you wil never know. Afa-kun updated his Facebook 15 hours ago and I only pre-reged now. Lag liao.
And the iNite (shouldn't they call iSpark Nite that?) was fun, if you took away the mediaTech disapointment. And WR your 18 straight hours of work was there for only 5 second tops so can you put it up kthxbai.
Diao. Exams over, and I suddenly remember this.
Well. I shall give a brief summary about RCJ. The full specs are here (PDF).
[Image hotlinked mercilessly from the forums]
So, 2 robots on each side with a ball emitting Infrared light(IR).
I am thinking of using Microcontrollers (MCs) this year instead of a puny RCX like last year. sian. I managed to work with the Arduino, and would soon order some stuff online (Details secret to protect ideas from these people (PDF), excluding ourselves.)
Just to update IRL, finished ZnT3 (some should have noticed from the increment in Animes completed by 1). Thanks ODEX and Arts Central. I am trying to find a steady vid uploader on Veoh to DL them.
K. Enough of me.
5 things I wanted to do if I had Geass?
Including the rule which states that it only works on a particular person once, I do not think you can Geass yourself...
1) Get myself a ASUS EEE PC
2) Get a bike (to ride to school with duh), or permission to inline-skate to school.
3) No tests duh. Exams are fine.
4) ODEX, M$ and other closed platform developers, to personally Kowtow to me.
5) erh, I actually have a slot left? Then I shall just Geass the people who dun pick up litter, internet trolls (I wonder how), those who are currently bullying Liow or Joel, and those with domestic workers (aka maids).
